Join us for a step back in time – no, we’ve not got a hold of a Tardis, – we’re talking about our beautiful medieval venue in Essex.
Cressing Temple Barns.
Our barns are steeped in history. Built by the Knights Templar in the 13th century, it’s home to some of the oldest barns anywhere in the world. Cressing Temple is home to not one, but three Grade I listed timber-framed buildings!
There’s no greater setting for all the wonderful classic cars and motorbikes we’ll have on display.
Historian Michael Haag described our Barley and Wheat Barns as “the two finest Templar-built barns in Europe”, but don’t just take Michael’s word for it, come and see for yourself…
In addition to our wonderful barns, be sure to mooch around our mid-16th century Tudor brick walled gardens, enjoying the beautiful flowers, plants and shrubs, located adjacent to 1618 farmhouse and 1800 coach house.
